A new app from Qloovi

How many sleeps until the big day?

Tuckmoon is a countdown for the whole family: a little moon for every night until a birthday, Christmas or Grandma’s visit, and widgets that count down by themselves at midnight.

Coming soon to theApp Store Coming soon toGoogle Play

Coming in November 2026, just in time for the Christmas countdown. iPhone, iPad and Android.

What’s a “sleep”? One night. Tomorrow is one sleep away. Young children can’t read dates yet, but they understand “three more sleeps”. That’s how many families, from the UK to Australia, answer the question that comes every morning: “Is it today?”

A countdown your little one can see

No dates to read, no numbers to work out. Just moons, one for every night, and the big day’s picture waiting at the end.

Count in sleeps

A big number and a moon for every night, in rows of five and blocks of ten, the way young children learn to count.

Tuck in tonight’s moon

At bedtime, tap tonight’s glowing moon: a little quilt comes up, its eyes close and a “z” floats away. “Goodnight, moon. One less sleep in the morning.”

Today is the day!

On the morning itself the night ends: the sky turns to dawn, the sun comes up behind the picture and drawn stars and crescents fall.

The whole family

Each child has a name, an animal face and a colour. Countdowns can belong to one child or everyone.

Tuckmoon countdown screen: 12 sleeps until Christmas, with a moon for every night arranged in rows of five

Twelve sleeps? Twelve moons.

Every countdown shows a big number, “sleeps until…”, and a little moon with a face for every night. Moons sit in rows of five and blocks of ten, so the wait is something your child can count with a finger.

Long waits stay friendly too: “2 weeks and 3 sleeps”, or “about 4 months”.

Widgets that count down by themselves

Put the answer on your Home Screen or Lock Screen, or on the family tablet, so “how many sleeps?” takes one glance.

  • Small, medium and large Home Screen widgets
  • Lock Screen widgets on iPhone Pro
  • Resizable widget and “next four” list on Android
  • Choose a countdown, or show whatever is next
  • They tick over at midnight, even with the app closed
Today's plan in Tuckmoon: morning picture cards for wake up, get dressed, breakfast and brush teeth, with Now marking the next step

Today’s plan, in pictures Pro

A simple visual day for Morning, Afternoon and Bedtime: big picture cards for getting dressed, breakfast, shoes, bath, pyjamas, story and sleep, or your own.

Cards get ticked off, “Now” shows what comes next, and there’s an “All done!” at the end. Picture plans can help with transitions and routines, including for children with ADHD or autism.

Ready for every big day

Birthdays, Christmas and Christmas Eve, holidays, Grandma & Grandpa’s visit, the first day of school, parties, Halloween, Easter, New Year’s Eve, a new baby, Hanukkah, Diwali, Eid, a doctor visit, or anything else.

Fixed holidays fill in their own date, Easter is worked out every year, and birthdays roll over by themselves. Choose from 37 hand-drawn pictures and 8 colours, or use your own photos with Pro.

Safe for small fingers

A quick grown-up question guards settings, editing, purchases and links, so a curious tap can’t delete Christmas.

Questions

How does it count sleeps?

One sleep is one night. If the big day is tomorrow, that’s 1 sleep; on the day itself it says “Today is the day!”. The count drops at midnight, and long waits also show weeks (“2 weeks and 3 sleeps”) or months.

Do the widgets update if I don’t open the app?

Yes. The widgets work out the number of sleeps themselves and tick over at midnight, even when the app is closed. On iPhone and iPad, widgets need iOS 17 or later.

Is it a subscription?

No. The free version is free for good. Pro is a single purchase ($4.99 or the local equivalent) that you keep forever. On iPhone it’s shared with your family through Family Sharing; on Android it’s restored on any device signed in to the same Google account.

Do you collect any data?

No. Everything stays on your device and there is no account. To check and restore Pro, Apple or Google and our payment provider RevenueCat see the purchase under an anonymous ID. Details are in the privacy policy.
